If you’re not completely confident that your AP or IB score will be high enough, or if you’d simply like to buff up your algebra and trig skills, you’re welcome to assess in ALEKS PPL and use your ALEKS Learning Module for targeted review. Your highest score determines your placement, so you won’t be risking anything—if your AP or IB exam score meets the placement criteria, your placement assessment score(s) in ALEKS won’t influence your placement, but if your exam score turns out to be a mid-summer disappointment, having a head start in ALEKS can save you from a last minute scramble to complete placement before your Summer Orientation session.
